As one commentator pointed out, Obama might have trouble with the logisitic train needed to invade the Northwest Provinces of Pakistan. Which leads me to fantasize a scenario in which Obama contacts Mushareff to ask permission to overfly Pakistan so that he can invade Pakistan.

Alternatively, I suppose he could demand overflight rights from Iran.

No thanks Mr. Obama. The world isn't ready for you and you are not ready for the real world.

An update on Obama: in an attempt to show strength when his chief rival has described his foreign policy skill as naive, Obama shows his foreign policy skill is naive.

To borrow that well worn phrase from Gertrude Stein, there's no there there. Obama articulates the standard liberal pieties but these remain same old same old, and are basically reactionary, and hysterical around the edges; his demeanor and racial background appeal to liberal vanity and wish fulfilment; he allows the Democrats to brag they have a woman and an African-American among their contenders, as opposed to the old white guys on the Republican side (overlooking the fact that only black guy among the rich white male Democrats in 2004 was the demagogue Al Sharpton; he makes for a nice reedy counterpoint to the Clinton orchestral arrangement, which everyone expected to a pomp & circumstance to the Democrat nomination. But he actually hasn't run anything other than his mouth. I much prefer a candidate who has actually held an executive position, such as governor or mayor of New York, to a candidate who emerges from the waxworks of the U.S. Senate or the provincial back scratching of a state legislature.
