You cannot stage raids without intelligence, and you cannot acquire that intelligence when the hostages are deep within a totalitarian police state. For Iran, they have millions upon millions of people to refuel vehicles, to arm guards, to pilot ships, and to cover the tracks.

Terrorism is asymmetrical, but not even asymmetrical warfare tactics are out of phase with reality. Every method of war obeys one thing. Logistics. People have to eat, they have to sleep, and they have to know what they are doing , command, control, communications.

There is a specific psychological model that deals with terrorists and the taking of hostages. Basically, you have to make the punishment for taking your citizens hostage so great that the terrorists would rather shoot themselves and their leaders rather than go up against your nation. This is done through terror, the disciplined application of psychological warfare techniques. It is a derivative of law and order, of counter-insurgency operations. This is contrasted to terrorism, which is derived from crime, nihilism, anarchy, sadism, and totalitarianism.

The methods from which a small nation could accomplish this are manifold. All that is required is that you instill the appropriate amount of fear in your enemies. Whether you do this because you’ve killed many of them, or because you sent various severed and bleached skulls of captured enemies, complete with video tapped footage of the last 3 hours of pain and despair, to the political and action leaders of the enemy terrorist organization.

One of the most effective methods is to strike terrorists when they are resting in what they believe to be a safe location. When people think they are safe, they let down their psychological barriers and defenses, which can cause panic if they are taken by surprise. Panic and terror. Terror spreads by living people. If you kill too many people, then the terror starts translating into backlash and anger (Iraq). The judicious use of human fear to change human behavior requires more finese than the brutality of a Zarqawi.

It is not required of a nation to have the capability to rescue hostages. It is only required of a nation that seeks to defend her citizens, to make the cost of attacking their citizens too great to even consider. You must show that you are more hardcore and ruthless than the terrorists themselves. Or you can be like Germany and release every terrorist you see as ransom, including terrorists that tortured and killed an American diver that refused to cooperate in the hijacking of a plane.

Everybody’s got a choice. You can either fight for the Light or you can go down the path of Darkness. Evil likes weak people, it likes people who cannot overcome their fears to do the necessary things. Easier to corrupt. But those who fight for the Light are required to have higher standards. Not only must the defenders of the Good, preserve life, but protectors must also be better at destruction and annihilation of life than the most dreadful servants of entropy. Only then can harmony be achieved, through balance in all things.

Yoni is an example of the Yggdrasil tree I was talking about before. His beliefs were rooted in the foundations of Israel, drawing power from the sacrifices of all those who lived and died in the pursuit of the Israeli dream.

Classical Liberals used to empower the Democrat party with a set of ethics, constraints, and beliefs worth fighting and dieing for. The Left purged classical liberals from the Democrat party. If you want to make a fire, you have to burn some wood, you know. And if that means cutting down the trees of your ancestors, then that’s fine by them.

In the end, all good civilizations must maintain their roots. In one form or another. Constant revolutions serves chaos and destruction, not stability and order. If you no longer believe in your roots, if you no longer can accept to be sheltered by the Great World tree, then logically you must destroy it. If you believe only in yourself and your power, status, Co2 offset assets, and ideological purity, then the Great World Tree stands as an upfront to your beliefs and your path. The Great Tree is strong, with its roots reaching deep. If you were to accept and recognize that strength, that would mean denying the power of chaos and corruption in your heart, it would mean accepting that you are weak and mired in weakness, and that would require admitting that you made a mistake, a whole lot of mistakes. If you cannot admit such mistakes and use the power of redemption and regret to turn back from the path of darkness and suffering, then you surely must destroy the strength of the roots of any competitors. Like Yoni. A man who stands as a testament to all that you are not, must be destroyed, for certainly that is why Stalin purged Trotsky, why the Iranian Revolution purged their Leftist allies and fellow travelers, and why all evil ultimately turns upon itself in a fervor of ultimate decay. You ever notice how good people can work together in harmony, creating something greater than the sum of the pieces. Compared to say, evil folks, who act quite consistently with the ancient truism “The Revolution Eats its Own”.

The appetite of evil and entropy is infinite. It can never be satisfied. If you can’t find something to destroy, someone like Yoni, evil demands that you destroy yourself and offer yourself as a sacrifice. Since most people have self-preservation instincts if nothing else, that means they will seek to offer someone else in the place of the sacrifice. The more you progress on the path of darkness, evil, and human despair, the greater the hunger of evil becomes. It soon becomes intolerable to just kill and terrorize one person, you must terrorize and intimidate entire neighborhoods, and then even that is not enough. You naturally progress to the nation, to the continent, to the world. One death is now too little. 100,000 deaths is even less. The more that is killed, the greater the hunger and void becomes. If you were to take Hitler and give him infinite life, he would have destroyed the human race eventually. It’s a good thing that entropy plays no favorites. Good, evil, doesn’t much matter to the blade of entropy.

The United States is able to command the most powerful forces of destruction available to humanity, because the US meets those high standards. The Left can’t do a damn thing because they fail to achieve those standards. The Islamic Jihad’s culture sucks blackhole, precisely because they are the ultimate failures. Fail anymore and they will pull themselves down into the hell pit of execution along with anyone they can drag with them.

Civilization and progress has always rested upon the premise that raw energy is dangerous and useless. You must first harness such energies, channel it. Electricity doesn’t go where we tell it to go, electricity goes where we make it go. But in order to channel such energies, you must ground it in reality, because if something goes wrong, you want the electricity to go to ground, instead of going through you. This means in the greater scheme of things, that you must maintain balance. Too much stuff going on here, could be dangerous, balance it out. Too much acid, dilute it. Too much air pressure, depressurize. Too much oxygen, breathe slower.

In order to harness the power of the atom to destroy life, one must also be able to utilize such power to create and sustain life. This is the true meaning to Balance in All Things. The inability to properly maintain such a balance, spells disaster for the would be wizard. Do people really believe that Power will obey the whims of the retarded, of the foolish, and the corrupt? Touch a live wire outside or inside, and then try to channel the lightning power…. that’s basically what the Islamic Jihad and the Left is doing. Powerful, yes, but unsustainable, uncontrollable, it is liable to destroy you along with your target.

Suicide bombers indeed. They know not the true meaning of terror or power. Because they have yet to unlock the true potential in humanity. You cannot ignore your roots, for they are the source of humanity’s progress, wisdom, and power. Anarchists and nihilists seek to remake the world into their artifical nightmares. They will have to unmake the United States first, for it is the premier guardian against chaos on this planet. By my estimates, the United States is locking away 95-90% of its full power. Good entities must be restrained in their use of power after all, not because they have an infinite load of it, but because their power came from their roots, their ancestors, and those who sacrificed before. Use too much of it, and you will be left only with your personal reserves. Ask the Dark Age folks and Medieval Europeans how that fared. Not pretty. A measly 15% of America’s full maximum power is enough to destroy Pyramid Loads of enemies. Calculated as the number of bodies that can fill all the pyramids ever built, volume wise. Although one wonders if you get a volume discount if you incinerate your enemy’s body…
