That is ABOVE the 78.8% for the population as a whole! In terms of education or aptitude they are ABOVE average! As for officers, almost all - 98% - are college graduates, with 4 out of 10 having master's degrees or doctorates! Is it too much to expect of Mr. Kerry or any politician for matter, to know these facts or at the very least do some research PRIOR to addressing a college audience! It makes it so much easier to see through the other guy's dirty bag of tricks. It's like having spies in the other guy's organization, infiltrated out the wazoo. Intelligence matters in a fight. Also even if there was a prepared speech, does it really change what Kerry said and how he said? Not really. If Kerry went off the script, that is his problem. It's totally easy for the aids to create after the fact a document meant to cover for Kerry. As I lawyer, I've seen that happen zillions of times as people try to cover for errors. Give me a break! This guy wants to be president, yet he is so inept in expressing his thought that THE ENTIRE WORLD(!) misunderstands him. How’s that going to play when he’s negotiating sensitive agreements with world leaders? Not a very good recommendation, if you ask me. The thing he demonstrated more than anything by his incredibly stupid remark, and the equally stupid scramble to talk his way out of it, is a complete lack of character. No amount of studying and homework is going to make up for that. Look in the dictionary, and you’ll find Kerry’s picture next to the word “arrogance.” I hope this incident makes people think a bit before they cast their votes for the Democrats. He's a veteran, and therefore of course would never, ever, ever criticize those in uniform. As a veteran he's based his whole career on criticizing those in uniform. And marrying rich women. He amazes me.
