The ambulance story matters because it’s the perfect example both of the dishonesty that permeated the Israeli/Hezbollah war reporting and, as Zombie demonstrates in her update to her original post, because the press assiduously keeps trying to spin the story rather than doing the decent thing and conceding that it is false. Zombie’s not the only one out there playing Diogenes. Michelle Malkin highlights another debunking of an MSM’s attempted debunking. In addition, Malkin has a great YouTube video on the subject, which I’ve included here as well:

Deception is a major part of warfare. Whenever there be warfare, there is its little sidekick going around stirring up dissent, discord, and strife. Sounds like the Greek Gods, and about just as disfunctional.
